At
Web-Host we wish to provide a professional environment
for our customers. As such we have decided we
will not host sites which contain any of the following:
material that is obscene, pornographic, sexually
explicit or of a adult nature or provide links
directly or indirectly to this type material.
We also will not host sites which are used for
gambling or contain material which is stolen,
pirated or unlicensed copyrighted material. Our
systems may not be used to SEND or RECEIVE "spam"
mailings or be used as a means of correspondence
for bulk mailings. (It is illegal to spam
to or from the state of Washington) Also,
if content of a client website is deemed questionable
by our staff, we immediately disable POP/IMAP
e-mail access.
Some
questionable web sites include money making
sites, multi-level marketing sites, or obvious
"too good to be true" type services.
We do not censor these type of accounts,
however, accounts of this nature may require
a signed form with acceptance to company
policies as said herein if e-mail is required.
We
provide this policy up front to all of
our clients, and failure to adhere to
our policy is subject to immediate cancellation
of the account. Setup fees
and/or remaining subscription funds are
NOT refundable if such an event occurs.
All
client web sites are subject to periodic
inspection to not only monitor up time quality
for our clients but to assure the above
policies are adhered to.

following is what we expect our customers
to abide by:

Web-Host's systems shall not be used to store
or disseminate content of a obscene,
pornographic, sexually
explicit or extreme adult nature
or provide links directly or indirectly to this
type of material. NO BANNER ADS
to adult material are to be placed on any site
as well. Some material may be acceptable
but will require prior approval by sending us
e-mail at sales@Web-host.com.
Generally speaking, if your site has to have
restricted access to prevent minors from accessing
it, then we definitely cannot host that
site. If you are not sure,
please be sure to contact us. We
are more than happy to answer any questions
or visit your current site before moving it
to our network.

Web-Host's systems shall not be used for gambling
or any other practice deemed illegal by the
laws of any of the States of The United States
of America or the US Federal Government. This
includes content that is stolen, pirated
or unlicensed copyrighted material.

Web-Host does not allow the use of third
party DNS servers to point to our network.
The use of these services will force us to terminate
your account without any notice required.
Only Web-Host's DNS servers may be used for
your domain and for your security as well.
There are no exceptions.

Copyrighted music or sounds in .WAV
or especially .MP3 format is not acceptable.
Only public domain sound files are allowed.
If your sound file(s) are copyrighted by you
or your company, please contact us for approval
first. Sites that point to copyrighted
material is strictly forbidden.

Web-Host's systems shall not be used to store
or disseminate material of a threatening
or slanderous nature. Web-Host
does not tolerate sites that promote discrimination
of any kind. Sites of this type
will require immediate termination of service.

Web-Host's systems shall not be used to send
spam (unsolicited e-mail) or
receive replies to spam.
Such actions will result in immediate termination
of service without prior notice required.
This applies to sending mail through our network
to a third party mail service or if a third
party spam service is used to link to a Web-Host
account. Please note that it is
illegal to spam in the state of Washington,
USA where Web-Host is located. Web-Host
can disable an account to protect the integrity
of the network due to Denial of Service Attacks,
or attempts to spam through the customer account
as well. In short, if you need to
use SPAM or bulk unsolicited e-mail for your
advertising, we cannot be your hosting provider.
- Web-Host
customers are not to "poll" for e-mail
every second or every minute of the day due
to the unnecessary stress it can cause on mail
servers. Our servers poll for new
e-mail every hour so it is not necessary to
poll frequently anyway. We appreciate
your help in keeping your assigned mail server
easy to access for all customers.
- Web-Host
is not responsible for customer e-mail if
mail is configured to forward to another ISP.
Once mail leaves the Web-Host network we cannot
guarantee that the receiving ISP will deliver
mail in a timely manner. If mail
is lost by the other ISP, again, Web-Host is
NOT responsible.
- Web-Host
cannot guarantee that e-mail will be sent or
received instantaneously. Web-Host systems
are tuned to perform as best as current technology
allows. However, there are many times
that mail can be delayed for a few minutes or
a few hours it is a particular peak period of
time. This is normal on the internet
and most of the time delays are due to outside
influences like network latency or slower networks
outside Web-Host's fast data center.
- Web-Host,
which provides your server/site, reserves the
right to deactivate any virtual server account,
if the account is in violation of Web-Host operational
procedures.
- We
reserve the right to refuse service, to anyone,
for any reason, and at any time, in order to
ensure a professional environment
for all of our clients. Web-Host will
refuse service immediately to any customer who
uses excessive profanity, makes personal attacks,
or is not professional in such a way that is
condescending to any Web-Host employee. Any
form of legal threat also equates to an immediate
termination of the client's account.
- We
do not accept uploading of custom DLL's
to our NT servers. (This applies
to ISAPI filters too) This protects
all clients that share each server from potential
server failure. Not allowing custom
software, dll's or applications to be added
to our servers protect not only Web-Host, but
the client from legal issues that can arise
as well.
- All
customers are responsible for keeping Web-Host
up to date on a proper contact e-mail address
for their Web-Host web site account.
To update your contact information the web-host
webmaster.
- Web-Host
does not develop web pages, nor do we
assist in the design or creation of web sites.
(This also applies to database consultation
of any kind) If special site modifications
or source code evaluation are required by Web-Host,
we reserve the right to charge at a competitive
hourly rate. We may also refer
customers to trusted web site development companies
if required.
- Web-Host
does allow the use of outside mail servers
through our DNS servers at a nominal service
charge. However, Web-Host is not responsible
for mail problems outside of our network since
Web-Host cannot control how the third party
server or service handles mail.
- Web-Host
does not allow site link addition services or
automated link pages/search engines of any kind
due to the damaging effects and high bandwidth
they cause. Web-Host will disable any
account that becomes a free web site link addition
service or search engine.
- Web-Host
will not move web contents from one web hosting
company to our network. It is the
customer's responsibility to move the site contents
to the new location.
- Non-Web-Host
customers cannot use Web-Host's name, address,
phone number or any other content information
for their domain contact information without
prior written permission. If a non-Web-Host
customer "parks" a domain using our
dns information or our technical contact information,
Web-Host reserves the right to bill the domain
owner and/or take legal action. This is
called domain "squatting".
- Static
IPs: If a customer has a static IP
assigned to their account, the customer cannot
use any third party network routing to that
IP. This includes mail and web traffic
routing. Customers must still use
Web-Host's DNS servers with or without a static
IP. Web-Host reserves the right
to disable a customer's static IP if this rule
is not followed or if there is any abuse found.
- The
terms and conditions of the Web-Host
Service Contract has been read and understood
by all Web-Host customers.
- Web-Host
customers are to not use any third party tools
to monitor or ping their sites on a regular
basis. Doing so adds unnecessary stress on your
site and can potentially bring it down.
We do not allow any web monitoring tools to
monitor web site status at all. If caught,
we will immediately terminate your account without
warning.
- Web-Host
customers are to NOT call any Web-Host employee
at their homes for ANY reason. Web-Host
provides low pricing by offering free online
support via e-mail and online chat as available.
Calling employees at home is not acceptable
and can result in immediate termination of your
account.

IF YOU, YOUR CUSTOMER, OR YOUR BUSINESS IS LOCATED
IN CUBA, IRAN, IRAQ, NORTH KOREA, SUDAN,
SYRIA, SERBIA OR LIBYA (OR ANY OTHER
COUNTRY CURRENTLY ON THE UNITED STATES BUREAU
OF EXPORT ADMINISTRATION'S LIST OF EMBARGOED
COUNTRIES), ARE A PARTY ON THE TABLE OF DENIAL
ORDERS, OR ARE ENGAGED IN THE PROLIFERATION
OF NUCLEAR, CHEMICAL OR BIOLOGICAL WEAPONS OR
MISSILES, Web-Host WILL NOT ACCEPT YOUR BUSINESS.
Web-Host RESERVES THE RIGHT TO DELETE ACCOUNTS
(WITHOUT
REFUNDS) THAT
VIOLATE U.S. TRADE LAWS. THERE ARE
NO REFUNDS FOR BREAKING THIS CLEAR POLICY.
NO EXCEPTIONS.
